Leon is home to the largest cathedral in Central America as well as an abundance of beautiful churches all within walking distance of the cathedral.

A popular activity is volcano boarding, you 'ski' down the inside of a volcano on a board, a must for the adrenaline junky.

The beautiful Pacific beach of Las Penitas is a short drive from the city on a newly paved road.
